Circular Economy Local Resolution & Resources

A circular economy reduces carbon emissions, waste, pollution, and resource use by ensuring that materials and products stay in use and maintain their value. Circular economies support environmental justice by reducing toxins and contaminants, particularly when circular economy policies prioritize reducing pollution in over-burdened communities. Our model resolution, along with an accompanying memo and factsheets, helps local governments, advocates, and community members use policy to begin the transition to an equitable and circular economy.
