We help community members and advocates turn visions into effective policy as we strategize together regarding how to overcome barriers, consider tradeoffs, engage with stakeholders and communities, and figure out the most promising path to success. Working with policymakers and community members, we identify policy opportunities, anticipate obstacles, and conduct legal research. Starting from a position of respect for local expertise and priorities, we see our role as supporting community goals by providing additional legal knowledge and know-how.
